2007: CFEPP secured the very first KEY project between South Africa and China for VERY substantial funding.

2008: XuDong Zhou received the Outstanding Youth Award from Chinese Academy of Forestry.

2009: CFEPP secured a VERY sizable grant from Ministry of Finance of China for facilities to equip a world-class tree health biotechnology lab at CERC.
