Field stop Warburton to see native Coryphodema tristis (Lepidoptera: Cossidae) attacking Eucalyptus nitens.
Lunch in field.
 Field stop to see Thaumastocoris peregrinus (Hemiptera: Thaumastocoridae) and Gonipterus scuttelatus (Coleoptera:
Curculionidea) damage and its biological control.
Overnight at Hluhluwe game reserve in Northern Natal.
Saturday 5th JulyGame viewing all day in Hluhluwe - including hopefully BIG FIVE and LITTLE FIVE (including two
insects, the ant LION and the RHINOCERUS beetle).
Sunday 6th JulyEarly departure through Northern Kwazulu-Natal with extensive clonal Eucalyptus
plantations.
To Pietermaritzburg to see Sirex noctilio (Hymenoptera: Siricidae), Pissodes nemorensis (Coleoptera: Curculionidea)
and bark beetle damage on Pinus patula.
Drop of at the ICE conference centre or hotels in Durban.
