Research Interests

I am currently doing my Honours research project on the evolution of the cellulose synthase genes in land plants. By using the newly sequenced Equisetum (giant horsetails) CesA genes we may be able to produce a clearer picture of where and when the genes for secondary cell wall synthesis evolved.
