Research Interests
I completed my BSc degree in Microbiology in 2008 and enrolled for a BSc Honours degree in 2009. My research project dealt with bacterial associates of the Cossid Moth, Coryphodema
tristis.
In 2010, I enrolled for a MSc degree in FABI. My project focuses on Actinobacterial symbionts of invasive bark beetles associated with Pine forestry in South Africa. My research interests
include microbial ecology, insect symbiosis and phylogenetics.
