Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology
My Ph.D project is focused on characterization of pathogenicity factors in Fusarium circinatum. This is under the supervision of Prof. Emma Steenkamp, Prof. Brenda Wingfield, Dr. Martin Coetzee and Prof. Mike Wingfield. Outside of my research I have social activities. These include being part of the FABI outreach and mentorship programs. I have been a FABIan since 2008, as a mentee, and I can say it’s undoubtedly a great institute!
