Ms JieQiong Li

My name is JieQiong Li, come from China. I am currently enrolled in the first year for my PhD in the University of Pretoria. I have being a member of FABI and starting my PhD project under the supervision of Dr. S.F. Chen, Prof. Michael J. Wingfield, Dr. Irene Barnes and Prof. Jolanda Roux. My research interest will mainly focus on the tree pathogenic fungus, Calonectria, which includes numerous important pathogens that cause significant damage to a large number of herbaceous and woody plants worldwide. I will be working on taxonomy, genome sequence and development of microsatellite markers for species of Calonectria collected from South China.
