I am Thandiwe Mary Joe, a dedicated researcher with a passion for studying entomology and parasitology. My academic journey began at the University of Free State, where I completed my undergraduate studies. In 2023, I successfully completed my honors degree, specializing in the identification of hematophagous flies in the Witsieshoek Community Conservation Area, located in the Eastern Free State.

I am currently in my first year of the master's program with research efforts on endoparasites in goats under the supervision of Dr. Machekano and Prof. Nyamukondiwa. My research aims to deepen our understanding of parasitic infections in livestock. By investigating the prevalence, distribution, and factors influencing endoparasite infections in goats, I seek to contribute to the development of effective management strategies to reduce the economic loss and health risks associated with these pathogens.
