Six of FABI’s interns were invited to attend the South African Cultivar and Technology Agency’s (SACTA) Annual Stakeholder Meeting that took place on Wednesday 10 August 2025. This year’s meeting focused on “expanding SACTA’s impact and advancing the role of plant breeding and technology in ensuring food security and economic competitiveness”. The interns, funded by SACTA through a one-year internship, enjoyed insightful and interesting presentations, and engaged with various stakeholders.
