I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Physiology and Microbiology in 2024. Through the CPHB-FABI mentorship program, I discovered my passion for agricultural research. This led me to pursue an Honours in Microbiology, where I focused on characterising avocado NLR genes involved in defense against Phytophthora cinnamomi. I’ve since completed my Honours and am now doing an MSc in Genetics, continuing my work with the avocado research program.
