My research focuses on establishing the diversity of the seed-borne mycoflora associated with Eucalyptus spp. in South Africa. Studies are also done to investigate efficiency of transmission of seed-borne fungi from seeds into seedlings. Furthermore with the current focus on organic production of vegetable and tree seed across the globe, various alternative non-chemical agents were tested to replace synthetic seed-dressing chemicals.
