On Tuesday 20 April, members of the Macadamia Protection Programme (MPP) in FABI planted approximatively 300 macadamia trees from various different cultivars that are grown commercially by the industry. The trees were obtained from DuRoi and Nseleni nurseries and will be used for research purposes including pathogenicity trials and maintenance of insect colonies. Thank you to the entire team for their help and MPP research leader Dr Gerda Fourie for organising the event!
