Cropwatch Africa (now Biosyntrix) and FABI are partnering to perform pest surveillance in the Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces for economically important maize pests, including Busseola fuscaChilo partellus and Spodoptera frugiperda.

Each hexagon represented in each of the following maps has a radius of approximately 25 kilometers and contains the total number of insect pests collected in that area.

Dashboards should not be compared. The amount of data collected for these pests vary.
