FABI celebrates the recognition of, Professor Almuth Hammerbacher who was awarded the Scientific Committee Award in recognition of her contribution to chemical ecology research in the Global South. Almuth was an invited speaker at the Joint Meeting of the International Society of Chemical Ecology & The Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists 2025 (ISCE-APACE 2025) held from 18-22 August in Christchurch, New Zealand where she received the award. This quadrennial event, jointly organized by ISCE and APACE, gathers students, research scientists, and stakeholders from around the globe to explore the dynamic field of chemical ecology.
