On 17 April, South African Cultivar and Technology Agency (SACTA) Transformation Manager, Mr Sandile Mahlangu and the organisation’s Operations Executive Ms. Anelda Craffert visited FABI to meet with the group of interns in the Centre for Plant Health Biotechnology (CPHB) Internship in Phytosanitation and Biosecurity programme. This gave them an opportunity to interact with the six interns that had started their training in February, as well as their FABI supervisors. The interns also had the opportunity to ask the SACTA officials any questions they had, and this made for a meaningful exchange between both parties.
