On Friday last week members of the FABI social club loaded a FABI 4x4 to the brim with blankets and warm clothes and delivered these to the offices of TUKS FM. These contributions were made by warm-hearted FABIans as part of the annual FABI blanket drive. 2014 is the sixth year since the FABI social club has launched the first blanket drive in 2009, and it has grown annually ever since. This community project has helped people in places such as The Ark Nursery School, the Mamelodi Nursery School, and the beneficiaries of The Salvation Army and the University of Pretoria's annual blanket initiatives. This year we donated all our contributions to the TUKS FM Woolly Winter Campaign. We contributed more than 180 blankets and various other items and hope that this will aid in a warmer winter to those in need.

We would like to thank the PEP at Hatfield Plaza for their contributions to our blanket drive this year. A BIG thank you goes out to the FABI Social Club that organized the event and delivered the blankets to TUKS FM. TUKS FM also extends their gratitude to FABI for all the contributions that were made. But most importantly we would like to thank each and every warm-hearted FABIan who, through their contributions, has shown that they do not move around untouched by the needs of the less fortunate around them. Many people will be warm this winter thanks to you.
