My Name is Ruth Nante
I am a Masters student completing my MSc in Bioinformatics.
I am currently working with Prof Irene Barnes and Dr Alisa Postma. We are comparing the two forest fungal pathogens, Dothistroma septosporum and Dothistroma pini. These are two pini pathogens responsible for the notorious dothistroma needle blight disease. It was exciting working with comparative genomics tools investigates the variations between those two pathogens at genome level.
