I am a student at the University of Pretoria in the Department of Plant and Soil sciences. I am currently busy with my Bsc Hons degree in Biotechnology and doing a genetics based project under the supervision of Professor Dave Berger and Professor Namrita Lall. I am interested in the medicinal properties and genetics of the Greyia species. Specifically, I will be investigating and comparing the anti-tyrosinase activities of the red and white flowers and look at the genes involved in the pigmentary differences.
