Research Topic: Characterization of causal agents of lemon blossom blight in South Africa
The epidemiology of blossom blight diseases are poorly understood, especially in South Africa. This project aims to identify blossom blight pathogens of lemons in different citrus production regions in South Africa.
Furthermore, spatial analysis of the pathogens found in different regions will be examined and accompanied with phylogentic analysis.
