I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture majority in Plant Sciences. My honor's study focused on the Physiological and morphological traits associated with drought tolerance at germination and seedling stage of WEMA (Water Efficient Maize of Africa) maize. I also have a Master’s degree in agriculture, my research focused on the Maturity indices of selected golden kiwifruit cultivars. I did both my qualifications at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg. I had an opportunity to share my research work on two visual symposium that was held in Turkey (2021) and Stellenbosch (2022). I also published kiwifruit research articles to contribute to the existing knowledge in the kiwifruit industry, especially in South Africa.

I am passionate about research, and I look forward to opportunities that will make me grow as a young researcher. I am excited to be part of FABI internship under the supervisor of Prof. Martin Coetzee. In a process of getting more exposure to research and working with professionals, I am looking forward to share my skills and experiences.
