I hold a Master’s degree in Soil Science from the University of the Free State, with a dissertation focused on soil fertility and nutrient dynamics. My research, published in the MDPI Journal of Applied Science under the title Using an Uptake Enhancer to Mitigate Nitrogen Leaching While Enhancing Uptake Efficiency, explores the impact of AnnGro® on nitrogen leaching and crop uptake, highlighting its role in improving nutrient efficiency while minimizing environmental risks. My academic background spans Environmental Soil Chemistry, Agronomy, and Soil Physics, equipping me with strong research experience in sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.

At FABI, I am currently expanding my expertise by studying plant pathogens, allowing me to integrate soil science with plant health research. This experience broadens my understanding of sustainable land-use systems and enhances my ability to contribute to innovative agricultural solutions. I look forward to collaborating with multidisciplinary experts and addressing critical challenges in agriculture and environmental sustainability.
