I completed my BSc in Genetics and Microbiology in 2024 and my BScHons in Microbiology in 2025. 

I grew a passion for mycology during my Honours year, where I studied the fungal biodiversity of South Africa's Strelitzia flowers under the supervision of Prof Cobus Visagie in the Applied Mycology group.

I am currently pursuing my Master's in Microbiology under Prof Brenda Wingfield, where I will be studying the sexual reproduction of Fusarium circinatum to determine the genetic Basis of Male/Female Sexuality and female fertility
