I am a second year Masters student under the supervision of Dr David Read, where my project is about determining the routes of transmission of Macadamia ringspot-associated virus. I will specifically look at the graft and insect transmission possibility of this virus affecting Macadamia trees. By knowing the routes of transmission of the virus, it becomes clearer how to control the virus.
