I am a Master’s student in the Department of Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Pretoria and a member of the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI). I completed my Honours degree at FABI in 2024 with the Rhizobia group, where my research focused on Bradyrhizobium species, with particular emphasis on their phenotypic traits.
I am currently continuing my research to further investigate Bradyrhizobium biology to better understand traits relevant to their ecology and symbiotic performance. Through this work, I aim to deepen my knowledge of rhizobial diversity and contribute to ongoing research on legume–rhizobia interactions in South Africa.
