I am a Crop and Horticultural Science graduate (Cum Laude) from the University of KwaZulu Natal, with strong academic and practical background in crop production, plant health, and agricultural research. My training has equipped me with experience in field trial data execution and management, data collection and analysis, research and reporting, nursery management, pest and disease management, fostering a strong interest in phytosanitation, diagnostics, and biosecurity within agricultural systems.

At FABI, I am currently an intern affiliated with the Centre of Excellence in Plant Health Biotechnology, where I am expanding my understanding of plant health, pests and disease threats, and diagnostic driven-research. By integrating my background in Crop and Horticultural Sciences with exposure to plant pathology and biosecurity, I aim to contribute meaningfully to research supporting sustainable, resilient, and well-managed agricultural systems, while continuing to grow professionally through learning, collaboration, and responsibility.
