I'm a Brazilian microbiologist with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Microbiology from the Federal University of Lavras. My research interests include fungal diversity, taxonomy, soil microbial ecology, and the impacts of environmental change on microbial communities. During my Ph.D., I conducted part of her research in the Netherlands, focusing on fungal taxonomy. Currently I'm postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pretoria, working under the supervision of Pedro Crous, Cobus Visagie, and Neriman Yilmaz.
