I am an Honours student in the MPPI research group completing my degree in Plant Biotechnology under the supervision of Prof. D. K. Berger. My research project combines bioinformatics and laboratory work to investigate the antimicrobial potential of Ecp2 effectors. Through this research, I hope to improve our understanding of C. zeina effector biology and contribute to better maize disease management and crop protection.

In 2024 during my second year of studies, I participated in the CPHB Mentorship programme at FABI. In 2025 I worked as a laboratory assistant in the FMG and EPPI research groups and completed my BSc in Biotechnology.
