Three visitors from the Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences presented their research during the FABI Monday Morning Meeting of 14 March. Michaela Švarcová, Adéla Čmoková, and Karel Švec talked about i) resolving the taxonomy in clonal fungal species, ii) the ecological role of secondary metabolites in plant-fungi interactions, and iii) microbial communities associated with bark beetles, respectively.

They are visiting FABI as part of the Mycobiomics project granted by Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions-Research and Innovation Staff Exchanges (MSCA-RISE).
