I am a Genetics Master's student, part of the Tree Protection Co-operative Programme (TPCP) research group within the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute (FABI). I am currently working on a population genetics study, with a focus on Diplodia sapinea, a significant fungal pathogen affecting coniferous forests worldwide. I aim to uncover genetic variations and population dynamics that could inform disease management strategies and contribute to sustainable forestry practices.
