I completed my BSc Agric (Agronomy) degree at University of Zululand and an MSc in Plant breeding at the University of Kwa Zulu Natal. My PhD project entitled "Understanding the effects of exogenous application of plant growth regulators on Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum germination, sunflower growth and development, and their interaction", aims to evaluate the efficacy and viability of plant growth regulator application to induce resistance against S. Sclerotiorum in sunflower.
