Qiniso Sithole, a postgraduate student at the University of Pretoria, currently pursuing an MSc Agric Plant Pathology. He holds a BSc Agric in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Stellenbosch and majored in Plant Pathology and Horticulture. My research focuses on biological control strategies for economically important plant pathogens, with an interest on the use of bacterial metabolites (Xenorhabdus and Photorhabdus) against root-knot nematodes and fungal pathogens such as Rhizoctonia solani and Botrytis cinerea.
