I am Siphamandla Shongwe i completed my honours degree in BSc in Agriculture at the University of Mpumalanga. I am currently enrolled for MSc in Microbiology at the University of Pretoria. My masters study focuses on investigating the role of seedborne and systemic infections in Sclerotinia disease of sunflower in South Africa. My supervisor for my masters is Dr Markus Wilken and my co-supervisor is Dr David Nsibo.
