I am currently working towards a masters in genetics, focusing on the evolution of succulence with Cyphostemma juttae and rubroglandulosum. For my masters project, I am working on sequencing and annotating the genomes of C. juttae and c. rubroglandulosum in hopes of identifying genes/gene pathways crucial in the evolution of the succulent syndrome. 

I am working under the supervision of Prof. Eshchar Mizrachi and co-supervision of Prof. Tuan Duong, Dr. Rose Marks, and Prof. Yves Van De Peer.
