I am a Masters candidate in Microbiology under the primary supervision of Dr. Thabiso Motaung. My work focuses on characterization of extracellular vesicles in Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and their involvement in biofilm development and stress adaptation. Through this research, I aim to better understand the functional significance of extracellular vesicles in phytopathogens.

I am interested in uncovering how microbial communication systems contribute to disease progression and resistance, with potential applications in agriculture and plant disease management.

As a developing researcher, my goal is to build strong expertise in advanced laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific communication. I aspire to contribute to innovative research that addresses real-world challenges in plant pathology and microbial sciences.
