This FIMT website aim to provide a tool for researchers and practitioners dealing with forest health to more rapidly identify emerging pest insects in Eucalyptus and Pinus plantations, as well as link to other research groups dealing with the same pest.

The database contains sequences of plantation forestry insect pests of Eucalyptus and Pinus. These sequences have been generated using the cytochrome b and cytochrome oxidase 1 region of the mitochondrial DNA. All insects/specimens, which have been included in the database, have been curated. Trusted sequences of key pests available in GenBank have also been included, as well as sequences that have not been included.
