I am from Cali, Colombia. I grow up in an agriculture environment, I used to help my parents with the basic activities in crops and orchards but also I enjoyed caring my ornamental plants for that reason I decided to study agronomic engineering (agriculture) in the National University of Colombia, Palmira Headquarters. I became an Agronomic Engineer on May 2019. 
In June 2019, I got the opportunity to work with Dr. Carlos Rodas in the Forest Health Protection Program of Smurfitkappa Colombia (SKCC), I learned a lot about Forestry plantation during the time working there and also encourage me to continue study a MSc.

I joined FABI on October 2022, I will be working with Ceratocystis spp.
